Paul Myers, started skiing at Copper Mountain 40 years ago. Paul served as an executive with the Boy Scouts of America for nearly 30 years in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and South Dakota and the BSA National Council in Texas. Paul has been a homeowner at Copper for over 20 years, where he has served on the HOA Board of Copper Mountain Inn for the past 19 years and continues to serve as the Board President.
In 2009, Paul started SkyRun Copper following his Scouting career. During the past five years, SkyRun Copper has become one the largest Property Managers at Copper Mountain, with over $1.5M in annual revenue. SkyRun Copper moved its Guest Services Center to the East Village at Copper Mountain in the Foxpine Inn in July 2012. From this facility, the staff serves the needs of Copper guests as well as operating the Copper Reservations Center which is a large part of the SkyRun Virtual Reservation Center taking reservations for SkyRun locations from across the country.
In addition Paul is a co-owner of SkyRun Breckenridge. Paul and his local staff oversees the management over 100 properties.
Paul has worked closely with Barry Cox in the conception and development of the technology that sets SkyRun apart from the competition the past five years. This cutting edge technology enables Paul to manage operations efficiently while traveling between Colorado and SE Wisconsin, where he lives with his wife Karen of 19 years. They have one daughter (13) who enjoys basketball, volleyball, fishing, camping, and of course skiing at Copper!
